Because photography is a commodity that is custom made for each client, and thus can’t be “put back on the shelf” and sold to someone else, we do not accept returns or give refunds. Deposits and advance payments are never refundable! When we accept a deposit or advance payment for a job at a specific date and time we turn down all other jobs for that date and time and therefore we do not refund deposits or advance payments. If the job is rescheduled to a later date and/or time it is treated as a new booking. We may, at our discretion, transfer such deposits or advance payments to the new date and/or time. We encourage clients to check with us when rescheduling to confirm our availability and whether any deposits or advance payments will apply to the new booking.
I archive anything that they have purchased in case something were to get damaged but I still have no guarantee that those files will be viable. Long-term digital storage is something that we don’t know the full reliability of so we can’t ensure that we will have them.
